• Mary O'Brien, Head of Arbor Schools

    Mary started Arbor in 1993 to bring Montessori elementary education to the Sammamish Plateau. More selfishly, she founded the school for her three children, the oldest of whom is Mr. Sean, the Primary Coordinator.  Mary was the on-site director of Arbor from its inception through the 2007-2008 school year.  Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year she turned over the day to day operation of the school, but continued to be involved behind the scenes as the owner of the school.  Recently Mary has returned to her former position as  Head of Arbor School.  Her passion for Montessori education still burns strongly and she plans to stay in this position as Head of School for the next several years.

  • Linda Waskom, Arbor Schools Elementary Program Head
    Linda first became an Arbor parent in 1995 when her daughter Brittany started attending Pre-K. She enjoys reading, knitting, shopping, and spending time with Brittany who attends CWU. Linda has a Washington State teaching certificate for K-8, an AMS Montessori Certificate for 2 ½ to 6 year olds from Montessori Education Institute of the Pacific Northwest, a BA in Liberal Studies, and an AAS degree with a certificate in Medical Assisting. Linda has been involved in Arbor Schools growth for the past 14 years.    
     
  • Sean O'Brien, Primary Coordinator

    I have been part of the Arbor community since the beginning (1993), and I am excited to be taking on the role of Program Coordinator for the Primary and Toddler programs. I completed my early childhood training at Spring Valley Montessori after getting my degree in Business from Hawaii Pacific University, in Honolulu. I am now working on a Montessori Administration certificate at the Center for Montessori Training Education (CMTE), in New York. I love it here at Arbor and I am so excited to be supporting such wonderful teachers and children. When not at work I enjoy soccer, snowboarding and most water activities . Come on in and say hi!

  • Correine Magee, Arbor Schools Coordinator
    Originally from Canada, Correine has lived in the United States for almost 18 years and has been an administrator at Arbor Schools for the past 3 years.  She holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from the University of Calgary.  Correine enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband, her two  busy teenage children and her lovely Labrador Annabelle!
